Privacy Policy
This page is maintained by the Kesher team to answer common privacy questions about Kesher. It describes what Kesher — the app owner — does with your information. It is not an independent certification.
What we collect
- Account info: your email, display name, and profile picture (from Google, Apple or email sign-up).
- Content you upload: videos, shorts, thumbnails, channel names, descriptions, and any text you post as a comment.
- Activity: which videos you watch, how long you watch, subscriptions, likes, comments and search queries. We use this only to personalize your feed.
- Technical data: a rough location derived from your IP address (city level) to determine when Shabbat begins for you.
How we use it
To run the service — sign you in, show your channel to viewers, recommend videos you might like, and enforce the community guidelines. We don't sell your data.
Who can see what
- Your channel name, avatar, videos and comments are public.
- Your email is visible only to you.
- Your watch history and liked videos are visible only to you.
Ads
Kesher serves its own ads (see the Advertise page). We do not share your personal information with advertisers. Advertisers see aggregate impression and click counts only.
Deleting your data
You can delete any video you uploaded from your channel page. To close your account and remove your profile, email kesherstream@icloud.com.
Children
Kesher is intended for viewers age 13 and up. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.
